EDU480A Theory and Practice of Teaching and Learning the Arts in Elementary School (Part 1) (2 credits)

Provides elementary teachers with opportunities to learn and practice the skills needed to teach the arts effectively, and to integrate them into other curricular areas, including English language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, and technology. (This is the first section of a two-part course; EDU 480B in the fall builds on assignments completed in EDU 480A in the summer.)
